SPA ETIQUETTEFirst Time Guest We suggest that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow ample time for orientation, consultation and to supply basic information about medical history, allergies and contact information. If this is your first spa experience, our friendly staff will gladly escort you throughout the spa and answer any questions you may have. Arrival Prior to Treatment If you’re planning to have a spa treatment, We suggest that you plan your travel time to allow for a timely arrival for your treatments, to enjoy our facility and to ensure that you receive a full service. All services will finish on time to allow our guests their full treatment. If you are late, we will gladly accommodate you with an abbreviated service. What to wear? Please dress comfortably. There is a designated space for your belongings. When visiting Tranquil Waters Spa for multiple services you will be supplied with an oversized bathrobe and slippers. Disposable undergarments are available upon request. Treatment Apparel We want you to feel relaxed and at ease, therefore please ask your practitioner which body treatments will require nudity. Our staff is professionally trained to properly drape you throughout the service. Undergarments may be worn during certain treatments. Reservations We suggest you schedule the appointment time most convenient for you well in advance. Larger groups or wedding parties will require additional advance notice. We suggest that you schedule future appointment before you leave to secure the most convenient appointment time for you. Appointment Policy Clients should be prepared to provide credit card details to secure appointments or a deposit for large parties. For appointments your card will not be charged unless there is failure of cancellation. See Cancellation Policy Cancellation Policy We require a 24 hour notice for any changes to appointments, or cancellations of appointments, 48 hour notice for changes or cancellations of multiple appointments, and 72 hour notice for packages. Private parties and wedding events require a two full week notice for any changes. A cancellation or a no show fee is charged if you are within either of these time periods when canceling an appointment or packages, No-shows are charged 100% for all scheduled services and or packages. (Please plan accordingly for bad weather, as to not inconvenience yourself ) Payment Types Gift Card, Cash, Personal Check, Debit cards, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards, with valid picture I.D. SpaFinder Coupons accepted only with a valid I.D., and Credit Card. (Please let us know if it is an inconvenience for your check to be electronically processed immediately.) Discounts When purchasing six or more of the same treatments (per person) , a 10% discount will be applied. Customized spa packages are not discounted. Some procedures can be purchased in a series, allowing one free service when the series is paid for in full in advance. (Spa Finder gift certificates are not eligible for any further discounts, or gratuities, and cannot be used in the wellness center.)(Discount coupons for the wellness center are NOT allowed for Private contractors, such as Chiropractic services, and Permanent Makeup. Please check for other exceptions before booking) Prices Your copy of our published prices may not be our most current pricing. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time and without prior notice. Purchasing policy Product purchases will be refunded in full with receipt within 7 days of purchase, provided they are unopened and in the original packaging. Items purchased maybe returned within 30 days for a credit on products. Gratuities Gratuities are not included in services. The customary gratuity is 18-25%. Feel free to ask our staff at check out for assistance in this matter. (not applicable to SpaFinder certificates) Quiet Environment As a courtesy to other guests, please maintain a quiet level of conversation. Cell phones and pagers are not permitted Children Insurance regulations require those who are not receiving services cannot remain in a treatment area. We will gladly service children 6 years and up in our Salon area provided that they are of the maturity level to enjoy the services without disturbing other patrons. Parents must accompany them. Teens (13 & up) are permitted in the spa areas. Parental consent is required for anyone under the age of 18 receiving massage services. Special Considerations If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have high blood pressure, services that include application of heat are not recommended. Please consult your physician first. Please inform us upon booking if you have any special needs. Massage during the first trimester of pregnancy requires a physician’s written approval. Staff Selection We make every effort to honor requests for a specific staff member however we cannot guarantee your selection in every case. Special Accommodations We do offer screened privacy for men, or people who may require it for religious or other reasons, during such treatments Comfort & Customizations It is our intention to help you maximize the many benefits of your spa experience. We encourage you to communicate your questions or thoughts about your service treatments to your technician so we may accommodate your needs. To enjoy your spa experience to the fullest, observe the Code of Comfort, act responsibly, and understand that common sense and personal awareness can help ensure your satisfaction, comfort and safety, as well as that of others. As A Spa Guest, You Have The Right To: • A clean, safe and comfortable environment • Stop a treatment at any time, for any reason • Be treated with consideration, dignity and respect • Confidential treatment of your disclosed health information • Trained staff who respectfully conduct treatments according to treatment protocols and the spa’s policies and procedures • Ask questions about your spa experience • Information regarding staff training, licensing and certification. As A Spa Guest, It Is Your Responsibility To: • Communicate your preferences, expectations and concerns • Communicate complete and accurate health information and reasons for your visit • Treat staff and other guests with courtesy and respect • Use products, equipment and therapies as directed • Engage in efforts to preserve the environment • Adhere to the spa’s published policies and procedures (Officially endorsed and prepared in partnership with the International Spa Association and Resort Hotel Association.) |
